Like most Emaratis, he spent most of his younger years being active outdoors, his favourite being out in the sea. Swimming being a passion, he immediately got hooked to his sport of choice when he saw an Instagram post of HH Sheikh Hamdan flyboarding.

With only 2 years of flying he finished 11^th in the XDubai Flyboard World Cup and later also won the DIMC UAE National Championships.
